In the Spotlight, Praise, Pray, and Prayer. This was by far the hardness article
for me to write. I did not understand the reasoning behind it at first, but the more
I read and steady what was before me, I began to see the connection between the
three words. They are truly entwined.

To the left is Pamela Watson, resident of Memphis, Tennessee,
attends Mt. Olive 2 Baptist Church in Collierville,
Tennessee. Pam is a four year Cancer Survivor. Since
her remission, she's been very active in promoting Breast
Cancer Awareness throughout the mid-south. Every year
Pam and her "Team Testimony" participates in the The
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and The Susan
G. Komen 5K Walks. Pam created "Team Testimony"
because in her eyes everybody has a Testimony and that is
with God, You Can Cer Vive.
To the right is Veronica Itson, resident of Memphis, Tennessee,
attends Greater Imani Church and Christian Center
in Memphis, TN. Veronica is a 3 year Cancer Survivor.
In addition to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother,
she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
Inc. Memphis Alumnae Chapter, Mississippi Valley State
University Memphis Alumnae Chapter, Memphis Public
Library Retirement Group, and Breast Cancer Awareness
Committee. Her message to women is early detection is
the best protection.
